Now in his third decade as a professional performer, Vancouver, BC native Jason Priestley continues to be one of the most versatile talents in the entertainment business both in front of and behind the camera.
Priestley produced, stared and directed multiple episodes of HBO Canada’s award-winning series Call Me Fitz. Other select television directing credits include Night Shift, Rookie Blue, Saving Hope, Working The Engels, Satisfaction,
SyFy’s Haven, Goodnight for Justice starring Luke Perry, the twelve-part dramatic series The Lake for Warner Bros. Studio 2.0, the CW’s 90210, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, The Other Woman based on the Joy Fielding novels, an eight-part reality series for the Great American Country Network entitled The Road Hammers, and 7th Heaven.
Jason’s feature directorial debut, Cas & Dylan stars Oscar winner Richard Dreyfus and Golden Globe nominee Tatiana Maslany and was The LA Comedy Film Festival’s “Best of the Fest”, received The Newport Beach Film Festival’s honors for Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking, the Toronto International Film Festival’s People’s Choice Award for Best Canadian Film, and the Whistler Film Festival’s Audience Award.
Priestley is currently developing the feature Death of a Freerider. Based on a Rolling Stone article by Jesse Hyde, the film is based on the tragic story of Sam Brown, a young Canadian mountain biker who got caught up in the world of international drug smuggling.
He currently splits his time between Canada and Los Angeles where he lives with his wife and children.
